The Hairy Scary Relay – A 4 stage relay each leg being just over 2 miles, held in Darley Park Derby at night under the light of a headtorch.
Brilliant event and loads of fun even with the rain!!!
We did this event 2019 n loved it, great friendly atmosphere n great spooky route. Fab run loads of mud.
Amazing fun night had by all at the scary helmet!!

COVID CONCERNS
Due to the uncertain future that the COVID -19 Pandemic brings us all, we will refund any entry should we need to cancel this event as a result of government advice.
Race info
- Four runners per team
- Everyone receives a race cup and a beer
- Race Registration will be available from 1800hrs
- Race Numbers/Pins/Drinks tokens will be handed out at registration
Changing and toilet facilities are available sadly no bag storage available but that is what team mates are for!
Race starts at 1915hrs
A head / body torch is compulsory when running (no handheld torchesThere’s no Fun Run (Sorry)
Hot food and drinks available
- Race HQ is Darley Barn (opposite Darley Abbey Cricket Club DE22 1DU)
