The Hairy Hill – A 1 mile hill challenge that takes in 331 feet of elevation.

RACE INFO
Run individually, run as part of a team or run as part of the club challenge. The Hairy Hill is 1 mile hill challenge for everyone.
There will be a series of races on the night to cater for different categories.
Each race is a point to point race from the bottom of the hill near to Hingley’s timber yard to the top of the hill at Hazelwood church and all runners will receive a chip time. There are 6 individual race categories female / males under 45, female / male over 45 and the flying banana categories which is the fastest female / male dressed as a banana! Why? … Why not we say!
There is also 3 Team categories; fastest female; fastest male; fastest mixed (must include 2 females). Teams will be made up of 4 runners where they will run individually in one of the races their times will then be combined in order to establish who is the quickest team. This is NOT a relay race.
Club trophy
There will also be a trophy for the club with the fastest 5 females and 5 males (10 runners in total) there is NO need to sign up for this separately just ensure you fill in your running club on your entry form and then we will look at all the results and take the top 5 women and 5 men from each running club combine their times and see who is the fastest and then that Club will collect the bling!
